OUR COMPANY

The Vermont Maple Granola Company was founded in 2008 by two moms with a great knack for making granola (and many other delicious specialties...but we finally decided to pick one and run with it!).  Pure maple syrup made by our neighbors here in Southern Vermont has always been the key ingredient, along with our commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Our granolas are produced here in beautiful Manchester, Vermont, where we're fortunate to have a thriving farmers' market scene, "Buy Local" movement, and friendly visitors touring the area who are eager to sample and take home with them a taste of Vermont. We love interacting with our customers and hearing how much they enjoy our products and have made them part of their breakfast routines. This is truly what inspires and motivates us to keep on mixing up each small batch, which is still done by hand (although the size of our oven has greatly increased, fortunately!).

Since the beginning, we have been committed to using low-impact packaging materials, because we really do care how long those materials will be sticking around on this Earth. Our one-pound bags are made with unbleached paper with a corn-based liner, and the granola is packaged in an inner bag made of compostable cellulose. We also believe the use of natural materials is healthier for all of us, since it is food that we're packaging, after all.
